Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 14, 2026
Tonewell Tech is committed to making its photo editor and written recipes accessible to as many people as possible, including users who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Conformance status
Tonewell Tech is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Parts of the editor (canvas-based image preview, real-time slider adjustments, and visual masking tools) are by nature visual and cannot be perceived through a screen reader alone. We provide equivalent functionality where possible (keyboard shortcuts, labelled controls, and step-by-step written recipes).
Measures we have taken
- Semantic HTML, landmark regions, and ARIA labels on interactive controls.
- Full keyboard navigation for menus, dialogs, and editor toolbars.
- Color contrast meeting WCAG AA in the default theme.
- Text alternatives and instructions provided alongside visual guidance in our recipes.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
Known limitations
- The canvas-based image preview cannot be described to screen readers in real time. Users who cannot perceive the canvas can still apply presets and quick fixes, and follow the step-by-step Lightroom Classic and Photoshop recipes as text.
- Some fine-grained sliders (curves, color wheels) currently rely on pointer input. We are working on keyboard alternatives.
